I wanted to wait until Redemption went live before I made this post.
First of all, for those in PW that aren't familiar with me, I started e-fedding in PW almost six years ago. Since then, there have been highs and lows both in e-fedding and life. I saw PW close its doors three years ago and then I was thrilled to see Nick bring it back a year and a half later and I jumped at the chance to be a part of PW's rebirth.
As excited as I was for this, I wasn't doing well mentally in a lot of other tings and I was unaware that I wasn't doing great physically until I developed a headache that wouldn't go away. Got my blood pressure checked and was told I was in extreme danger of having a stroke and in the follow-up process, was diagnosed as being Type II diabetic. I stopped e-fedding in order to try to get myself back to a better level of physical and spiritual health with the promise that if I could do that, I'd return to PW and e-ffedding.
A year later, I'm down to around 217 pounds, a weight I haven't been at since high school. I'm walking 30 minutes a day six days a week, I've cut down on my food intake in general and I've tried to watch both my salt and sugar intake. I'm still taking the same amount of blood pressure medication that I have since being diagnosed with it, but my BP is running normal and nowhere near the danger level it was. The best thing is that I've done well enough in managing my blood sugar that my doctor took me off the medication I'd been on to control that.
I'm happy to be back and to see familiar faces that are still here (Aurora, Frisky, Mason, Maz), I'm ready to get to work with people that came aboard when PW rebooted (Anastasia, Chris Andrew, The Collective) as well as the new people that arrived after I left.
I also feel that an apology is in order as well. When I was here last, my RL attitude bled into my character and that was something no one deserved to have happen. I'm sorry and I will own it and take responsibility for it. If there are any feelings of ill will regarding my behavior at that time or anything else, please PM me and I will do my best to work things out. I do feel that I owe a couple of folks in this sense and I hope to be able to make things good going forward.
Thank you, Nick for being there and lending me your ear when things weren't going well and for leaving the door open for me to return. Second of all, thank you to everyone on the roster for what you've done for PW in the last year and will continue to do to make it one of the best places to e-fed and I'm ready to help add to that and excited to have Rowyn here again and that he'll get to face some people he's never faced before.
It feels great to be home again. God Bless!
