Six Man Tornado Tag Match
Horace Jackson and the Fin and Twin Connection(The Fin-Nisher and The Twin-Nisher) vs. The Collective(Tony Tira, Geno ‘Forklift’ Forliti, and Frankie Starlight)
Horace Jackson made quite the impression over Frankie Starlight when he dominated him in the Rising Phoenix Battle Royal and threw him over the top rope. Frankie swore revenge, and got it at Redemption 121 when he defeated Horace Jackson one on one. But it didn’t take too long for Frankie’s gang to make their presence known, bringing Horace to call out for a challenge for Tempest. Horace and The Fin and Twin Connection versus the Collective. The Collective of course accepted, but only under their rules. At Tempest 2 The Collective hope to spice up the opener of the show with a wild six man tornado tag. Will Horace and the Finnish superpowers find a way to victory, or will they realize they may have bit off more than they can chew?
Giles Whitmor and Vin Bell vs. Mason’s Pulpit(Asger and Azazel)
The tag division is growing in PW, and looking to add to the pool are the duo of roughneck brawlers, VIn Bell and Giles Whitmor. After having an argument following their Rising Phoenix contender match at Redemption 121, Mason’s Pulpit made sure to rub in their lack of cohesiveness. A challenge was made to prove that cohesiveness, and to prove that Giles and Vin are the next big thing in the Duos division. Can Vin and Giles live up to the hype, or will Asger and Azazel prove they’re not ready?
Jrue Oliver vs. Shooter Reed vs. Jade
Ever since the Rising Phoenix Battle Royal at Redemption 120 we’ve seen Jrue and Shooter at each other’s necks. Adding to that chaos is Jade, who still feels that she’s the uncrowned Rising Phoenix Champion. All three of these young guns are hungry to move up the ladder and become the next breakout star in Phoenix Wrestling. Which of these three has the potential to do that?
Hardcore Match
Richard Roque vs. Mason Daniels
He was warned. He didn’t listen. Now at Tempest 2, Richard Roque will face Mason Daniels in a match 98 percent of wrestlers would turn down against him, a hardcore match. Mason gave Richard a preview of that with a fork to forehead at Redemption 121. Richard had hoped for a smooth transition back to wrestling, and here is he diving into the deep end against a certified maniac. God help Richard, we can’t lose him as a sponsor.
WCS World Cup USA Battle Royal Qualifier
Andre Holmes vs. Mariah Lopez vs. Anson Orlandeli vs. Ashlyn Monroe vs. Aurora vs. Demarcus Gresham vs. Infierno vs. Jolyne Dysart vs. Josh Mitchell vs. Kol vs. Marlon Cure vs. Nicholas Gray vs. Peaches vs. Sophia Pike vs. Tyler Storm
One of the latest additions to an already stacked PPV is the 15 person over the top battle royal to determine the USA qualifier in the World Cup. Fourteen of the best wrestlers in the world, plus our very own Aurora will do battle to determine who will take that coveted spot.
Rising Phoenix Championship
Lance Winters(c) vs. Kelli Torres
At Redemption 121 Kelli Torres survived a hectic five way match to earn the right to face Rising Phoenix Champion Lance Winters for the title at Tempest 2. This is the revenge Kelli never got when Lance eliminated her in the Tower of Destiny, earning his Rising Phoenix shot. Can Kelli capitalize on this opportunity to dethrone the new champion, or will Lance prove he’s the one to fill the gaping hole Anastasia left as champion?
PW Duos Championships
Hell Is Waiting(Aurora © © and Masaru Inoue © © ) vs. Chris and Mandi Andrew
The Collective is barred from ringside
When one thinks of dominating tag teams, one cannot help but mention Hell Is Waiting. They are superstars all around the globe, formerly WCS World Tag Team Champions and currently the top dogs in SAP and Phoenix. At Tempest 2 they defend their Duos Championships against Chris and Mandi Andrew for the second time. While the first time may of been a learning experience for the rookie tag team, the two feel they have the seasoning needed now to take out Hell Is Waiting. To add to their favor is their hated rivals The Collective being barred from ringside. This is strictly two of the best tag teams in PW battling out to prove which one is superior. Who will walk out of the Infinity Energy Center with the Duos Championships?
MAIN EVENT
60 Minute Iron Woman Match
Frisky D. vs. Nina Stokes
Special guest referee: Anastasia Starling(c)
What a cruel road to redemption it’s been for Nina Stokes. Ever since Boats N’ Throws roadblocks have been thrown in her path. Whether it be teaching Jade a lesson or dealing with a belt obsessed Masaru, she’s had more than her fair share of distractions. AtTempest 2 she sets a course to get back to the path she was once on.
At the end of that path is Frisky D. One of the most impressive rookies to have ever stepped foot into Phoenix Wrestling. She is the winner of the 2017 Boats N’ Throws Battle Royal, and current number one contender to Anastasia Starling’s Rebirth Championship. At Redemption 120 Frisky and Nina went to a time limit draw, bringing Seth Black out to give the fans what they want...at a later date of course. A rematch of the biggest proportions, main eventing an internet pay per view with sixty minutes to score as many pinfalls or submissions as they can.
In one corner is a veteran in the ring who is still in peak physical shape, and in the other corner you have a cerebral rookie with a penchant for counters and reversals. In the center is the woman officiating over this match, Rebirth Champion Anastasia Starling. With action as fast as this, you’re going to need a ref with some hustle, and Anastasia fits the bill. Who will emerge the survivor of this grueling contest?
