Phoenix Wrestling Bio
Full Name(include any nicknames): “The Las Vegas Lariat” Phillip Kennedy.
Pic Base: Chris Pine (actor)
Theme Song: “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” by Big & Rich
Alignment (Face, heel, tweener): Tweener/Heel
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 246 lbs.
DOB: 7/7/1977
Mindset
Personality: Cocky, risk-taking gambling man. Has a faraway look in his eye that indicates he’s seen shit he really doesn’t want to talk about. A scoundrel, but a principled scoundrel.
Strengths: Supremely stubborn. Hits hard. Quite adept at cheating. Experienced.
Weaknesses: Gets emotional under pressure. Not a technician at all. Easily swayed by the fairer sex. Readily gets in over his head.
Match Tendencies: Generally works over his opponent with his roughhouse brawling style. He’s more than willing to fight on the outside. Brawling and basic wrestling moves make up most of his offense not listed below in the moveset section.
Backstage Tendencies: Tends to be social backstage, wandering around and talking to people. He hates to be alone - he’d never admit it, but loneliness is one of the reasons that he returned to the ring. Pathologically avoids soda machines (don’t ask).
Ring Attire: Traditional felt-green wrestling trunks with “Kennedy” written in white across the back. White boots. Black elbowpads. He also wears a black Stetson to the ring which he fakes throwing into the crowd and entrusts to a ring attendant, with many warnings about what happens if it doesn’t return safely.
Supporting Cast(Managers, Valets, Bag boys, etc.): None now, but he’ll develop a new supporting cast in time.
Moveset
Wrestling Style: Brawling, Texas-flavored powerhouse with a penchant for lariats. (think a smaller Stan Hansen modernized for the 2010s)
Will he/she use weapons?: For sure. A small chain that he can wrap around his fist/lariat arm is his favorite.
Top Five Moves:
1. Lariat
2. Gutwrench suplex
3. Snap powerslam
4. Snake Eyes
5. Check Raise (No-hands dive over the top rope to the floor)
Finisher(s):
1. Lariat variations. See below.
The Nuts (Enzuilariat, aka a lariat to the back of the head.)
Acecracker Lariat (Pendulum/”Jawbreaker” lariat, a la Nigel McGuinness/Dean Ambrose)
All-In (Standing head-hold lariat)
2. Drawing Dead (Elevated Texas Cloverleaf)
3. Ace in the Hole (Suplex-lift into Emerald Fusion)
