The air was finally beginning to warm the inside of the house where Crystal was being kept. The light shone through the curtains of the room that was now hers and onto the bed where she slept, waking her as she slowly rose out of the bed. The young woman swung her legs from out under the covers, her bare feet touching the hardwood floor as she slowly rises and makes her way out of the room and into the main hallway, just feet away from Mason's door. She looked over for a brief moment, noticing that the door was closed and then made her way past the door and into the main living space.
The light shone all the way through, lighting the room as she made her way through and into kitchen. Crystal walks over to the window, looking outside for a moment. There was just empty land and tall grass as far as the eye could see; and just at the limits of her vision, could she make out a tree line. She sighed slightly as she made her way over to the coffee pot, opening it and pouring some water into the well. She made her way over to the pantry, pulling out a filter and a bag of coffee grounds. She places them into the coffee pot and turns it on before turning her attention to a few pans that could be seen hanging from hooks over top of the island.
As the sounds of the coffee hitting the heated glass carafe can be heard, she begins to heat two pans and makes her way over to the refrigerator, taking out a carton of eggs, a packet of sausage, and some butter. She quickly makes her way back to the pans, tossing some butter into them both. As the butter begins to melt, then sizzle in the pan, she tosses a few pieces of sausage into one and allows them to start cooking. She then cracks a few eggs into the pan, the whites beginning to color in as the eggs cook. She quickly seasons the eggs before flipping them over in the pan.
Crystal then grabs a loaf of bread and tosses a few pieces into a toaster, getting them started as she then moves back over to the sausage, rolling them in the pan as she then grabs two plates. She slides the eggs onto one of the plates and then puts more butter into the pan and puts it back over the flame. She cracks a few more eggs into it, seasoning them and then flipping the eggs once more. As the eggs finish cooking, the coffee pot chimes and the toast pops out of the toaster. She places the toast on the plates and then pours two cups of coffee before returning to the pans. She slides the second set of eggs onto the other plate and then places the pieces of sausage on the two plates, splitting them equally.
As she places the plates and coffee mugs on the island, Mason appears in the living room shirtless, the scar on his chest from his last match with Masaru exposed; he looked across at the woman he was holding captive and the meal she had prepared. Over these few months that he has kept her here, she has realized that there is no escape and has made the best of a terrible situation. She had decided that making her capture's life easier was in her best interest. So she cooked for him, waited on him, helped heal him; whatever she had to in order to make her life easier. In return, Mason moved her out of the cellar and into a room of her own with a cozy little bed. He had brought her clothes and other things to make her being here more bearable.
Mason took a seat at the island across from her, pulling the plate closer towards him as he stares across the table for a moment. A small scar across his forehead from the encounter with Crystal's brother at the last edition of Redemption. Crystal stared at it for a moment before looking down at her plate.
Mason: What?
Crystal: Nothing, just, your wound is healing nicely. I thought it would leave a bigger scar.
Mason: I thought that was something you'd enjoy happening; your brother leaving a massive scar across my face, a reminder of what all he has taken from me in this life. Something I would have to stare at for the rest of my days.
Crystal just stares blankly at him as he begins to eat his breakfast.
Mason: Pack your things. We leave tonight.
Crystal: Why, what for? Is it Rowyn? Did he find me?
Mason: Pfft, please, we're in the middle of nowhere. No, in a few days, all of this will end and you will be free to go; as promised. Rowyn challenged me and he is getting what he wanted. We will be locked inside a cage and there will be no escape. He wants to stand toe to toe with me, so be it. I will destroy him once and for all; your brother will be no more; and once I have done that, you will be free to do as you wish.
Crystal: It's been two months; how has he not found me. It's not like you've been careful. He could have found where we have been.
Mason: It's because he knows I won't hurt you; it's because he knows that I can't get what I want if anything happens to you. He could have tried to rescue you, but it wasn't at all important to him to find you. He only cares about destroying me. Your brother has been broken, and now it is time for me to finally destroy him.
Crystal: I don't believe that one bit. I know he's been looking for me; I know he wants to find me.
Mason finishes his breakfast.
Mason: Like you said Crystal, it's not like I have been careful. If he was looking, he could have found you. I have used my credit cards, been buying women's clothes in the area. He could know just about where you are. He could have brought your whole family here to find you; but he hasn't. Don't worry your gorgeous little ass one more second though, this is all about to be over.
Mason pushes the plate away from himself and stands to his feet.
Mason: Now clean this mess up.
Mason walks away as Crystal finishes her breakfast. After doing so, she quickly begins to clean the kitchen, hoping to do so before Mason grows angry. It wouldn't be long now, just a few more days and she would be reunited with her family; just a few more days, and this would all be over.

The scene opens with Mason standing inside the fully enclosed cage that would be the place where his match with Rowyn Starr would take place. At his side, bound with rope and gagged was none other then Crystal Starr. As The War Hound stands next to his captive, his newest scars are fully visible for all to see. He begins to look all around him, his hand placed firmly on the back of Crystal's neck as he then looks towards the camera intensely.
Mason: This is all on you Rowyn. Everything that has happened, what all of this has come to, it's all on you. My return to Phoenix Wrestling was all about you and nothing else. All of this started back in Inferno and from there I rose out of the ashes and became the Phoenix. I can not be killed, I can not be destroyed, and I can not be stopped. I will always be reborn, and that is something that you obviously must now know Rowyn. Almost a year ago you gained the opportunity to put and end to me. You had me down and beaten, and you made the mistake of letting that little good side in you stopped you from finishing the job.
This time around, things are going to be different. I'm not going to be playing around. No more games, no more bull shit. I am here for one thing and one thing only, to end your pitiful career. You want your sister back, well here she is. All you have to do is win. You get past me and you can have her; you'll have saved the day. Your family will once again see you as their hero; their good little Indian Chief. All you have to do is beat me and she is free to go. She'll once again be able to go back to her cozy little school apartment; sleep in her own bed; hold your dear ole' mommy and daddy tight. All you have to do is beat me Rowyn.
I'm not going to make it easy on you though, You chose this match, much like you chose the last one we competed in. Very original to trap me in a cage with you once more. You know how I pushed you to your limits the last time; and now you want to do it again. You want to do it again while you're the one who is distracted and I am the one who is focused. Fine Rowyn, let's do this, right here in the very cage. There is no climbing out, there is no escaping, and this pretty little thing will be right there, tied up just like this at ringside, watching as I end every last ounce of who you are.
You're a broken man Rowyn, I did that to you. The old you would have never come after me; the old you would have never been okay with the idea of killing me and never finding your sister. This new you, you don't even care. You don't care about saving Crystal; you don't care about restoring your honor; no, no, no...you only care about destroying me. That however won't happen. When we face off, it will be me who is left standing this time. I will be the one who will destroy you and bring you within inches; within moments of death.
I am going to set foot in this ring with one mission in mind; it won't be about winning and it won't be about keeping this one locked up as my hostage. No, I have no interest in that. My sole intent on setting foot in this ring with you is to return the favor for what you did to me. You ruined my life; you almost ended my career. Yet now I am standing tall and I will not make the same mistake you have made. I will ruin your life and I will end your career. When I am done with you, there will be no more Rowyn Starr. I will not make your mistake; when I am done, you won't be getting up to come back after me. When I am done, your spirit will be so far broken, that you won't ever want to set foot in a ring again. So get ready to go to war Rowyn; because when you set foot in this ring, it will be for the very last time.
(OOC: Writing this RP was extremely hard for me. Martin, I have RPed with you on and off for some time now and you have always been great to work with. This storyline we created was one for the ages, and I am I sorry that at the end, we had to hurry things up. You and I together have always made for a good storytelling team and knowing that this RP brings an end to this feud and may be the last time that I ever get to work with you, deeply saddens me. I am going to miss having you here so much. I am truly blessed to be able to call you a friend. Thank you for all the good times and stories.)
