It was dark, the walls all around made of stone and almost no light. A staircase could be seen against the far wall, leading up to a door. The room was obviously a cellar or basement of some sort. Off in the other corner was a caged in area; and inside on the floor, with nothing more then some blankets to pad the floor and cover herself, was Crystal Starr. There was nothing but silence, almost a peaceful feel to it, as she slept there; but all of that was about to come to an end.
The door at the top of the staircase flung open and the lights in the cellar came on as an angered and deranged Mason Daniels came flying down the stairs. Crystal quickly awoke from her slumber and made her way into the corner so that there was no way Mason could get to her without coming inside her prison. As he reached the bottom of the stairs, it could be seen that he had a plastic bag in his left hand. He quickly made his way to the cage and pulled some crackers and cheese out of the bag and tossed them in at her.
Mason: Dinner is served, Lady Starr.
Crystal quickly rustles them in and opens the crackers first and then goes to open the cheese, but struggles. She looks down at the package, but there appears to be no clear way to open it without scissors or a knife. She looks up at her capture with a slightly angry look on her face.
Crystal: You buy cheese that I can't open.
Mason: Beggars can't be choosers, Crystal. You should count yourself lucky that I am even feeding you at all. I mean, you didn't even leave me with any food when you left me in that cage with those wild dogs. You should be lucky I didn't return the favor; test out those ancient tales of Native American Warrior Women.
Crystal: You wouldn't have dared.
Mason: No, you're probably right. You're brother is already absolutely furious at me for kidnapping you. I could only imagine what he would do if I actually harmed you. Still, when all is said and done, I will destroy your brother once and for all, and then I will have no further use for you.
Crystal: What is that supposed to mean?
Mason: I guess we'll just have to wait and see, won't we.
Mason smirks slightly as he turns his back on her and begins to walk away.
Crystal: So you're seriously not going to open this for me. I'm starving.
Mason begins to mock her slightly.
Mason: I'm starving Mason, help me. Boo hoo; I feed you every single day. I may sure you are taken care of. When I leave out of town, I leave you with enough food to last until I return. You should be grateful.
Crystal: Why, because you feed me crackers and cheese, or give me cold ramen; or any of the countless other pathetic, so called meals you have given me. Get over yourself Mason. You kidnapped me and took me from my home; and for what, protecting my big brother from men like you and Masaru?
Mason: You seem to forget all the things your brother did to me Crystal. He took my family from me; he almost took my life, my career from me; for what? All to sell the story that he was such a good friend and I was the one gone bad.
Crystal: You were the one gone bad Mason. Look at yourself. You kidnapped an innocent women; you lost your family because you chose your career over them. Lucia never cared if you won or lost; she cared that you came home alive. Your son, Jason....
Mason: Don't you dare say his name.
Crystal: He only wanted his dad. Rowyn didn't take them away from you. He tried to get Lucia to have faith; he tried to get her to tough it out and give him a shot to bring you back. You failed them; you lost them for yourself.
Mason: Those are lies; just days after Rowyn visited my wife and kids, she filed for divorce. Days; not months. Your brother, my so called friend, cost me everything. Now it is his turn to feel loss.
Crystal: Mason, listen to yourself. You sound crazy. Rowyn loved you like a brother. You were the last man left in wrestling that he truly respected. I used to hear him talk about you for hours on end; he spoke of how great a warrior you were; how you fought with courage and virtue. He said you were the most decent man he had ever met. He used to say he would be proud to call you his brother and how he would be happy to see me marry a man half as good as you were. He loved you Mason; in you he saw hope and strength in such a dreary world. He fought so hard to keep his hope in you; he hoped you would see the light; but he just couldn't after you did what you did to our home; and he will probably never forgive you for this.
Mason: I don't need his forgiveness; I don't need anyone's forgiveness.
Mason begins to walk away once more as Crystal stands to her feet and makes her way across the cage to it's exterior. Her bare feet touching the cold cement as she just gazes across the room at her capture.
Crystal: Mason, I believe there is still good in you. I believe that you are just hurting right now. It is hard to cope. I know you loved her and your son; and it is hard for you to believe that it was your fault, but it was. Some day, that pain will go away and you will look back at what you have done, and you will hate yourself. It's not too late Mason. You can always change; you can always turn this all around. I am sure that your wife still loves and misses you; I am sure that...
Mason: You don't know what you're talking about little girl. To you the world is still all rainbows and butterflies. Even now you sit there and think that everything is going to be okay; well it's not. You may have a good heart, the kind I used to have, but this world will eventually chew you up and spit you out. Your brother is seeing that now. He is experiencing the same changes I felt and one day, you will as well. There is no good left in this world sweetheart, you might as well get used to it.
Crystal: Yes there is Mason. You just have to find it and hold onto it; you have to let it pull you out of this darkness that you have fallen into. I just takes one step, and then another; one day at a time, but I know that you can be the man that my brother once loved.
Mason: It's too late for all that.
Mason turns around and sees her standing at the cage, her hand extended out with the unopened package of cheese still in it. He snarls slightly as he quickly walks over and pulls out a pocket knife. He grabs her wrists and quickly makes a slice in the packaging and then lets go before storming off back up the stairs, leaving her there alone in the dark once more. Crystal takes a couple of deep breaths, thinking she was just about to lose at least a finger. She goes back to the blankets on the floor and sits down and begins to eat her crackers and cheese.

I'm done playing games with you all. I hope I sent that message loud and clear at the last event when I took Rowyn's sister hostage. There is no more mister nice guy here. You thought that I was just playing bad; thought that I was just trying to act the part. I'm not. I am the real deal, and I am going to fuck up anyone who gets in my way, by any means necessary. Just ask Faith; I am pretty sure she is still feeling the after effects of that chair shot I gave her; or just ask one half of my opponents this week, Rowyn Starr; I am sure he is really missing his sister right now and wishing he could see or talk to her.
Quite honestly, I could care less how much he misses his little sister. He took so much more from me then that. I would really like to talk to my son right now, but I can't because I'm not allowed within one mile of him and my ex-wife; I'm not even allowed to call them. I pay money for a child that I can't see or hold or talk to, all because of Rowyn Starr; so I can give two shits about how he feels about not being able to see or talk to his little sister.
That however is going to be the least of his worries this week. This week, he and Chris Andrews has to step into the ring with Ron Swat and myself and go toe to toe in a Duos Qualifier match, all in hopes of working our way up to a shot at the Duos Championship. Now, I am sure that Rowyn Starr would love nothing more then to end my life in this very ring this week, but he and I both know that he can't. You see, I am the only one who knows where his beloved sister is and I have taken measures to ensure that she can not be found. So Rowyn, just remember, if anything happens to me, you will never see her again.
Now, with that said Rowyn, I guess it really doesn't matter at all anyways because I plan on finishing you this week anyways; but it will matter to your family. You see, I rather like them, seeing as how they forced you to spare me and all; guessing they kind of regret that at the moment. None the less, without me, there is no her. With all that said though, I know beating you and finishing what you started shouldn't be hard for me at all. I know you are more than distracted this week and I know that myself and Ron are more than capable of taking you and Chris Andrews down.
I mean, you are after all Rowyn, a loser. I mean, you can't win in Phoenix Wrestling, you can't be a good big brother and keep your own sister safe; I mean, are you good for anything. No, no you're not; and your pal Chris Andrews is no better. You see, while I am picking you apart and keeping you out of the match, my partner Ron, he's going to rip your partner a new asshole. And I am not sure if that is in the literal sense or not, cause that Ron guy, he's fucking nuts. I mean, not Masaru nuts, but he is getting close. Like, I think he wants to make sweet man love to Chris, not sure though.
Either which way though Rowyn, at the next show, your career ends and Ron and I, we move on past this little qualifier. You know, cause Ron and I, we're going to be the first ever Duos Champions and I will get my first ever championship title; ending my career long drought. So all in all, I expect this to be a good week at the office for me. Oooh, and don't worry, I'm make sure to take good care of your sister after you're gone; mmmkay. Buh bye now.
